Breizh en oc ("Brittany in the region of Oc") is a non-profit making association following the status of the French 1901 law. It was founded on the 28th of May, 2001 by some members of the Amicale des Bretons de Toulouse ("Club of the Breton People in Toulouse") who wished to put forward and to carry on practising the Breton music and dances in the region of Toulouse.
The association's purpose is to promote the traditional breton culture in general, mainly through its music and dances. We have weekly meetings during which we dance, sing or play music. Sessions are available for beginners as well as advanced dancers or musicians. Several Breton bals are organised throughout the year.
All are welcome to our meeting, whether it be to play music, dance or share knowledge (traditions, language, cooking, history, etc.): as a beginner or an amateur, as a Breton from extraction or as an interested newcomer. If you would like more information, don't hesitate to take a look at the activities page.
